Pairing Your Phone To Your PC

  1. Insert Bluetooth adapter into any open USB port on your computer.


  2. Wait for windows to automatically locate and install the drivers onto your PC.

  4. After driver installation is complete you should notice the Bluetooth logo has been added to your system tray next to the clock.

  5. Next you will need to pair your devices. (Phone pairing used in this example)


  6. Right click once on the Bluetooth icon and click the Add a Device option in the menu.

  8. Turn on Bluetooth and make your device discoverable on your phone.


  9. Click next and the computer should see all of the Bluetooth devices in the area.

  11. Locate and select your phone from the list. Click next.

  13. You will be asked to enter a pin for the device. This can be any number that you will remember later. I recommend using 0000 as it is easy to remember. Then click next.

  15. Next look at your phone and it should be prompting you for the pin. Use the number you entered in the previous step.


  16. You should see a screen saying that the device has been successfully added to your computer.

Sending A File From Your PC To Your Phone Over Bluetooth

  1. Right click the Bluetooth icon located on your system tray by the clock in the lower right corner of your screen.

  2. Select Send a File.
  3. [View Screen]

  4. Select the Bluetooth Device you want to send the file to and click next.
  5. [View Screen]

  6. Browse and select the file you wish to transfer to your phone. DO NOT click next yet.


  7. On your phone, set it up to receive a file. Consult your phones user manual for instructions.


  8. On the computer click next.


  9. You may be prompted on your phone to accept the incoming file transfer. Choose yes.


  10. File should be successfully uploaded to your mobile phone.
